I just built my pc 2 weeks ago. Everything was running fine until recently. I was playing The Witcher 3 and it randomly shutdown. After shutting down, the pc restart and I only hear a beep but the screen is dark and cannot reboot. I have to press the power button to shutdown it completely. I think it is overheating so I check the temp which indicate max is 68 (which is normal for a graphic card I think). Now I have to run EVGA precision and keep the fans running at 50% (temp is 65) and the PC runs fine. No more shutting down. But the temp (68) is normal for a graphic card and it shouldn't shutdown like that. Even the default setting of EVGA precision is 80 . Do you guys think the card is defect? I may need to RMA it.
Thanks for your time!

My PSU: Rosewill RG630-S12 - Green Series 630-Watt. Now it is running fine again. The fan runs at 1818RPM and the temp is at 71 but no crash. But I don't know it will crash again or not. I play BF4 and Dota2 and seem no crash at all. I think it may because of the game itself.

It could be the game, but I doubt it. Sounds like a hardware issue if the PC shuts down or the screen goes black.

Btw, I recently RMA'ed that exact same PSU back to Rosewill for replacement due to a similar issue. The replacement worked fine. Just a thought...
