I agree, if you can only afford the one, then get the one you can afford.

However, I think that you seem to be asking if it is worth waiting to purchase the 750 Ti after saving up the difference. And in that case, it all depends. If you have already compared the differences in the GPUs enough and have come to the conclusion that the price difference seems to skew a lot compared to the performance...then go with your gut feeling on it.

I would assume that if you already looked up that info, then you also looked at the settings and fps you will get in the games you want to play, and have found them to be acceptable enough. Then get the one you can afford and just save money for upgrading down the road.

It will definitely be better down the road since its tech is newer and everything. But honestly, the next 1 - 2 years of GPU and other computer tech that will be coming out should be downright amazing compared to what we just got recently.
