Hello

I just built a system with a I7 4790k, 16gb 2133 DDR 3 ram, 120gb ssd, and a 1TB WD Blue hdd, and reusing old GTX 660.

I was planning on upgrading the GPU.

I just read some info that says that if having a system for video editing, it shouldnt have any games on it or other things.

I plan to build a second system with a 5820K.

My goal was to have one machine for music production, since this will have lots of components attached to it for recording and editing music. Plus I would use it as the machine for making music for the videos and animation I make.

What would be a good way to set this up?

Have one machine only for music production and the other one for graphic design, 3D design, rendering, animation, movie editing and put the games on either machine?

Or have one machine just for movie editing and everything else on the other machine?

Or have a third machine for only gaming and graphic design? Expensive if so.

Would a 5930k be better than a 5820K?

Software that I will use will be the Adobe CC suite, including Premiere as my main movie editing software until I can afford the Avid software. Pro Tools as the main music software, Lightwave and Blender for 3D and possibily a renderer such as Octane or something. I will also use a professional 2D animation software called Retas Pro.

I want to have a 2nd machine also because if I have something rendering on one pc, I can still work on graphics or something on the 2nd machine.
