Hello, so I recently build a system consisting of a 256gb MX200 for os and a 2tb WD black for storage. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with SP1. I have 123gb left of empty storage out of 232gb of total storage. Yet all files, hidden and unhidden on my ssd had been selected and only accounts for 55.7gb of the used storage. I have ran disk cleanup several times and disabled hibernation through microsoft fixit. Where did that ~60gb go???

Hi there powei0925,

I think that Restore Points are eating up your free space as well. Except for reducing the amount of storage allocated for System Restore, I guess you can delete previous restore points as well.
Here's how to do that: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/5482/make-system-restore-use-less-space-in-windows-7/

Cheers,

My restore points are only taking up about 4gb, it does not account for the 60gb that is somehow missing... Thanks for your help though.

I haven't enabled any restore software, and the system restore is already set at the lowest, at around 4gb.
