Hey community, i just wanted to get a couple of opinions on what peoples favorite CPU coolers are for both performance, and general looks. (because im sure no one wants to look inside their case and see some rubbish looking CPU cooler am i right?) So if i could get some opinions on the best performing liquid coolers, and best looking coolers, that would be much appreciated. :)

Thanks :D

I'd rather see a Noctua or a good Air cooler than a CLC... The higher end ones(Noctua D15, D14, etc of other brands) can match the higher end ones (h100i, Kraken) blow for blow. If I ever got a CLC... Either the Swiftech H-220X or the h100i GTX. To each his own.

I have heard that the Kraken series has problems.. The swiftech is nice, but the res on the radiator ruins it for me imo, but it may appeal to you. The Cooler Master one is a rebrand, and they aren't as good. I'd go with the new h100i GTX from corsair.

The only water cooler I recommend is the H240-X.
It performs slightly better than most AIO coolers, but more importantly it can do so much quieter. Plus it is expandable which is very nice.

I never recommend 120mm coolers, air cooler are simply better at that price range. (NH-d14/15, PH-TC14PE)

Thanks for the reply, do you know if there are any decent, liquid coolers with red LEDs? like in the water block? because i have a nice PC and the general colour scheme is black/red, and having a blue or white LED waterblock kind of ruins the whole scheme. Any ideas? because i have seen some corsair coolers with red LEDs but im not too sure what model they are...

Yeah, air coolers don't really appeal to me for some reason, thanks for the advice! :)

ok, XD i feel like a scrub for not knowing that :D thanks for the help, I'm thinking i will go with the H100i GTX cooler, it looks nice and i have seen some good reviews about it

not to mention how huge good air coolers are and all that weight hanging off your motherboard, oh and they look ugly imo, especially the noctua ones with the brown fan...eww....

I'd just change the fans lol.

I agree with the weight, I would be worried that the cooler would break off if I bumped my PC lol.
