How to know if oc your Gpu is successful ?

hello heres the pick i oc my gtx 960 palit super jetstream using msi after burner 4.1.1

can anyone teach me how to properly oc or should i oc more or decrease the clock

Download Unigine Valley and run the benchmark after the oc to test it.

Make sure you set your fan back to auto, sticking it at 35% could overheat it when load goes up.

Ah ok just making sure.

You may find overclocking the vram will boost performance more, with the 960.

Ignore what I wrote before, that was for CPU not GPU.

For a GPU, you can get Furmark for example and let it loop. You want to test over time, like a couple hours, not just a quick 5 minute run.

Your OC is unstable.

Overvolt or tone down the clock.

Then start again with testing

here is @ + 55 clock speed and valley didnt crash it crash @ 60 so i decrease it by 5 and it didnt

increasing memory clock even when 15 valley benchmark stops so i think i should not over clock it anyway or any suggestion or help?

here it is a stable oc +55 Core clock + 15 Memory Clock

btw i increased my power limit by 3 is it ok ? my gpu only uses 6 pin

Yes, VRAM is the memory clock. You should be fine.

Yeah thats fine you should be able to go higher. You can push the power limit much higher.

Try running the benchmark at Extreme HD preset, your score will be better to compare to others then. (everyone tends to use the Extreme HD setting for score comparing).
