Logitech Gamepad wired vs wireless

logitech has the F310 as the wired model and f710 is the wireless one

what i want to know is whether the wireless gamepad has the disadvantage of input lag and other inherent problems that come with wireless peripherals?

also the wireless costs twice the price of the wired
what should i go for?

how far from your tower will you be sitting?

on modern consoles, the controllers are always wireless, ad there is no significant lag - your own reflexes are the limiting factor.

if you're be close to your CPU box (sitting at a computer desk, for example) I'd go with the wired controller, just on cost. If you'll be some distance away (say, on a couch across the room), then the wireless will be more convenient
