Small amount of thermal paste spilled on CPU pins and motherboard socket.

I was replacing my motherboard and also decided to replace my stock cooler with a similar type cooler. The cooler which I got was sh*t. It would never install properly no matter what you do. So I have to reapply the thermal paste and by mistake used it in a bit of excess and small amount of it got spilled on CPU socket and pins. I cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and installed the CPU and cooler (still not installed properly). The PC is running just fine but I am afraid that it will have some future problems. What to do now?

  1. If it fine, don't fix it.
    Next time put less paste
