I have an hard drive connected, shows up at bios, device management and computer management but when i go to it in computer management>disk management, its there but i cant do anything (says good state of function/Active/Primary Partition) , doesnt have a letter and i recently installed linux at that Hard drive and was good (before formatting clean all@diskpart and installing again) . At boot, the linux OS doesnt show while windows does.

Dont know if encrypting the whole drive has anything to do with this but i format it with clean all.

Sugestions? Thank you.

If Windows is still accessible, try running the hardware troubleshooter.

If Windows isn't accessible, I would start over with format and partitioning the hard disk. And then do a clean install of Windows (and Linux if you are trying a dual boot)

Here is an article on dual booting operating systems.

Did the installation well now. Made a boot partition 100 MB then almost of the drive for / and the rest for swap 4GB.

Just dont understand why i had that error because before i didnt have anything or was required to partition the hard drive. Thanks for the help guys.
