My netgear stopped working after trying to set up a static ip 1 week ago. But every day at 6:30 PM the internet would crash. 2 days ago I thought it was a dns problem so I used googles dns. When it crashed again yesterday thought I found out the problem. The DHCP was on. I turned it off and at 11:00 AM today the ethernet crashed yet there was still internet on wireless. I tried connecting to the router and it couldn't connect. Usually if the internet is off I can still connect but my computer couldn't recognize the router. I believe I have tried everything. I have connected the router directly to my computer, changed cables, run windows diagnostics, and nothing worked. Right now I am using my modem directly to connect to the internet and it is working. But I still cant connect to my router. By the way when I did ipconfig it showed me an ipv4 that wasn't related to my previous default gateway and my default gateway was missing.

Factory reset your modem and/or router by pulling out the power cable for it and holding down the reset button for around 1 min (you will have to locate the small reset button on both devices it should be at the side of it, or underneath)

Plug back in and reboot them both

Has your ISP allocated you a static IP address? If not I am not surprised that your connection has stopped working. Or are you talking about using a static address on the LAN for your your computer (as opposed to a static address for your router on the WAN connection to your ISP)? Are you sure that you know what you are doing?

Any particular reason that you need a static address? I can't see any reason why you would need a static address on your computer.
