Windows 7
HP Pavilion dv6

I'm trying to boot from a CD-ROM, but after configuring the BIOS to set the first boot device as the CD-ROM, the CD starts spinning when it is being booted, but nothing happens from there. In the CD is a thing called dban, program/software thing that wipes HDD.

Solution
Go into your bios:

Under the security tab, disable secure boot

Go to advanced tab, select system configuration
Enable csm

Save settings and reboot

Well either way, I don't have that nor anything similar or related to that,

Turns out I had a faulty disk, found out by getting another similar disk and burning the same things.

Go into your bios:

Under the security tab, disable secure boot

Go to advanced tab, select system configuration
Enable csm

Save settings and reboot

Will be solution. Hopefully your solution will some others with same problems as me.
