PC will not boot up after installing a new GPU.

I bought the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 GPU, and installed it in my PC. I have the CybertronPC Patiot (Old model). Since it fits in the blue slot but I didn't have room, I detached the fan from the card itself and plugged in the card. Now I put the fan around the component that was in the way (Wifi antenna) and have it connected. For some reason my PC will not fully boot up with the new card, and sometimes I'll see a windows repair notice. Then it'll stop and do the same thing, in an endless cycle. One time it managed to get to my lock screen, but then the fans stopped and it shut down again. I uninstalled my previous AMD drivers before adding the card. I do not have the original install disk. Yes, I connected the power 6 prong cord. Yes, I have enough power to support the card. My monitor is a Sceptre TV. I have a mini HDMI to regular HDMI converter to connect it to my TV.

Sorry I'm new to this, what's the heatsink? Is it the metal thing with many rows next to the fan? If so, then the fan and heatsink are still together.

the heatsink is the cooler that attaches to the pcb... if it is not fully on, the gpu itself will get too hot and the computer will turn off to avoid damage to your gpu... make sure it is on correctly and the card is getting cooled, and you should have no problem

The problem is, the GPU won't fit unless it is in two separate pieces, the fan+heatsink and the pcb. What is in between is a Wifi port thing. There is about an inch of space between the pcb and fan. Is there any workaround to having the GPU and Wifi thing? There's just no room.

There's only one plug on my motherboard where I could put the wifi card perfectly. Am I able to put it into a different plug that is larger without harming anything? If so, then I can do that. If not, the hard wire would be difficult for me due to where my router is, far away.

Ok now I have removed my wifi card and have have the GPU fully installed, and correctly. My TV is still saying no signal. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm using a mini HDMI to regular HDMI converter? Thanks for all the help so far everyone!

Nothing at all, on both sources. If I remove the card the PC works fine with integrated graphics. I uninstalled those but can still see stuff for some reason. With the card in there's no signal, nothing appears at all. I've tried one HDMI plugged in at a time, still nothing.
