Will PCI Express 3.0 card fit in the P67 Extreme4's 3 2.0 x16 slots?

The card I'm looking at is the SAPPHIRE 100361-4L Radeon R9 290X 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Tri-X OC(UEFI) Video Card, New Edition. It is $294 after a $20 rebate at Newegg...

I'm concerned about the card's fit in the ASRock P67 Extreme4's Motherboard. It does not have PCI Express 3.0. There are 3 slots which are x16.. Will PCI Express 3.0 cards fit?

Just put it in first PCI-e 2.0 x16 slot

If you have a good power supply to run it, and your case is big enough to fit it
then a 2.0 x16 slot is perfectly fine for a 290x.
