should i build my computer without a case?

so i've been wondering if its a good idea to build my new computer without a case for 3-4 days, until it arrives, do you have any suggestions about how i can do that?, where should i put it? or should i rethink that?

if you cant wait couple days for the case to arrive. build on top of a Motherboard box

if your case has the power button i would wait.

Its really risky. If someone walks up and touches the motherboard and shocks it, its a dead motherboard. And maybe more than just the motherboard. With a case, the power supply is a ground source. But without a case, the motherboard is the only ground.

Keep it in the original packaging it came with. There is a chance it could get scratched or esd could kill that motherboard

In other words, it's not worth it. Wait for the case first
