Which frequency RAM should I buy looking at CPU-Z screenshots?

I have a 4GB DDR3 RAM on my laptop. Want to add another 4GB. heard that it should have the same frequency as that of old RAM for best performance. So which frequency RAM should I buy? One screenshot shows 798 Mhz. But some says its actually 2x798 = 1600 approx and I should buy 1600 Mhz RAM. Can anyone clarify please.

yep thats DDR3 1600Mhz you need. If you can find it get the same serial number SAMSUNG M471B etc... to avoid any compatibility issues.

Go to Crucial's website and use their memory finding tool as it will tell you exactly what you need because when it comes to laptops the memory is very specific.

Its the exact same part number that you already have, NOTE that even thou its the same stick of ram it still might not work with the other one. Its very rare but it can happen, that's why its recommended to buy a match set when getting more then one stick at a time.
