Hey guys, just wondering about whether an m.2 wifi card will fit into a regular pcie slot, i have salvaged an m.2 wifi card from a broken laptop. Will it fit into a regular motherboard, if so, will it work like its supposed to? or is there a catch?
Thanks! Appreciate the response!

You can buy an adapter for it as well as antennas, or you could pay less and get a pci-e wifi card.

Now if performance is a factor, especially for gaming or video chat then I would suggest instead you get a powerine network adapter. These are faster then wifi and you plug in by the router and one by your pc. The real world speed is as good as good or better then N300 if a room away from the router, better if farther then that, and the ping/latency and the reliability is better.
