Till 2 days ago I was using my asrock z87 pro4 with g3258 @ stock and with 8 gb ram, without a video card. Now I bought a video card (Hd 7970)and it works, I am no longer using the video signal from the motherboard but from the Video card and it works just fine.
My video card has only 1 HDMI port and I use it for my monitor.
The motherboard has 2 HDMI ports (as I was told, one in and one out) and I tryed to add my TV (thru HDMI cable) in but It doesnt show a thing !
It's basicly like nothing connected. On my old pc it worked to use HDMI from video card at the same time with the HDMI from motherboard.
So how can I fix it ?? How can I plug in my TV ? It is annoying that every time I must swich HDMI cables to watch a movie.
And another thing.
I want to OC my procesor G3258 to 4.9 ghz from bios. I tryed on my own but I have failed. Could you show me a link where I can see how to do it (with pics or video).
I modified the vallue @ All core speed 4.4
A friend did it for me 1 month ago but I switched it to stock because I had no graphics card and now I want to swich it back. I know that I can run even 5 Ghz but 4.8 or 4.9 is better for temps - running watercooling .
and Vcore voltage at 1.35 and it doesnt work
even on auto.
