So, My hard drive broke and after a struggle i was able to install a new one and get windows 8 on it but i accidentaly put the enterprise version on...

now it is only valid for 90 days, I want to know how to now install the normal version as it will not work just by trying to install when logged in and cannot find a way to boot to the usb/CD

anyone know what i should do?

Thanks!!

Solution
To boot from USB:
When the BIOS is posting, press the Boot Menu key repeatedly... it's usually F12 or the BIOS post shows it. that makes the Boot Menu pop-up with all available boot devices. If that still doesn't work, install EasyBCD.. it can install PloP Boot Manager to your hard drive.. it will add a boot menu with USB support. In Add New Entry / BIOS Extender / Install PloP.

If the USB boot is interrupted it may be fault of the software that installed it.. Windows 8 USB installer Maker does not fail once.

Download the Windows 8 ISO free from Microsoft with only a Windows a product key...

Another thing you can try to boot from USB in Windows 8: at the log in screen where you enter your password, go to lower left and click Ease of Access and click on On-Screen Keyboard. Click the shift key on the keyboard and go down to restart. After a moment a menu should pop up allowing you to boot from another source such as USB or network.
