I received a pre-built PC as a gift last year when my old computer's motherboard fried. The PC isn't the worst, but it's also not the best and usually runs newer games on medium settings with around 25-35 fps. I would like to upgrade this PC(if possible) so that i can run with 50-60fps on medium or high settings. I was thinking of upgrading my graphics card to a Nvidia 750 Ti, but don't know if my 300 W PSU can support it.

Here's a link to build of my PC:

Would love to just upgrade my current build, but I am also open to suggestions for PC builds within the range of $500-700. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

Your CPU is plenty powerful, so I would say focus on GPU, Ram, and a new Power supply.

Even a 750ti would be weak compared to that CPU, if you have up to $500-700 to spend... you could go for a 970 granted if your case will fit it, if not there are mini versions of the 970 available. With a 970 you could run almost anything @ 1080P at max.

You will have to replace your power supply. A Corsair CX 600M should do fine for cheap.

If I were you and upgrading that PC on ~500$, I would get a gold-rated 750W PSU (or 600W, I just suggest 750W because it can handle just about anything now and later) and a GTX 970. Or you could wait until...I think tomorrow? When the new AMD GPU's come out and decide if there's one better for the money than the 970 (not very likely imo).
