Can this rig play these games at ULTRA MAXED out settings?

Asked a question yesterday, got some good feedback. There are a few games that I know I love and want to be able to play and have the best experience. I'll put the parts below. These are the games I'm looking to play ULTRA MAXED out settings: Rust, DayZ (standalone/mod), Reign of King, Skyrim... I'm loving these indie games similar to Rust and DayZ, so if I can play those at the highest possible settings that would be super rad. I have a small budget so hoping this works out.

The indie games dont need much gpu power. What is you budget on gpu. At higher than 1080p like 1440p you wil need some think like a 980 or 980ti. You could get one 980 now and sli them with another 980 later if its in your budget. 980ti is expensive and you said you want max settings so this is a good option. 970 is alittle cheaper and will work fine also but 980 is better. I understand budget restrictions.

I have an overall budget of about $800 max for everything. Is there something I should spend less money on to get a better GPU but still similar performance? I'm thinking of getting the gtx 970.

Thank you so much, you've been a real help, last few questions. If I upgrade to a gtx 970 but keep everything else, and get an SSD later. I should be able to max out settings and will I get a decent fps? 60+?
