Upgraded GPU compatibility issues with DELL XPS 420

Hello,
I have a 2008 factory built Dell XPS 420. I was interested in upgrading the GPU to a EVGA GTX 750 ti. I just got off the phone with NVidia and they said that the BIOS may not support this GPU and that Dell may not have any updates for the BIOS to make this card work.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Are there known compatibility issues that I may not be aware of?

Please help.

375w. NVidia said it might not work. I've already upgraded to WIN 7 64. Plus it was free and I can always put the GPU in a new build later down the road.
