I updated the BIOS of my aser aspire 5755 G laptop, but asa it got update, the lappy went abnormal restart. and it stuck into boot menu, I read from an another thread of Tomshareware to troubleshoot this, and as suggested i changed the BIOS setting from boot menu AHCI to IDE and pressed F10. the machine restarted and started working again. but i noticed, it is bit lazy now, the windows explorer is taking time to pop up, any other app is also taking more time than normal to execute.
I want to ask how to re write the BIOS to AHCI, without doing a fresh format, so that i can switch it back to AHCI module
