Hi,
I installed the latest BIOS update from the intel website using intel's express installer (no flash or recovery):
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23524/BIOS-Update-BCZ6810H-86A-
3rd file.
After installing the BIOS update, PC automatically rebooted as it should, then I pressed F7 to update the BIOS, a cmd like window came and showed the progress of update. After updating, PC rebooted again and now every time I see the intel logo, PC reboots and the process continues.
I cannot even enter the BIOS settings.
I did the following things:
1)Reset the BIOS using jumper method as well as CMOS method as described in this article
http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS
->The PC booted normally and after getting past the windows 8 logo, it said 'BIOS updated successfully'. PC was running fine. BUT when I restarted the PC, same problem appeared, I further tried resetting the BIOS using all the possible methods but no success this time.
2)Changed the CMOS battery.
->No success. Keeps on saying CMOS battery failure, checksum error, time set error etc. and keeps on rebooting.
3)Removed the graphics card, processor, RAM and almost everything and put it again.
->No success.
In certain cases, after the BIOS logo, it says that previous post attempt has been unsuccessful, press y to enter into the setup or press n to boot with the previous settings. Did both but neither I can enter the setup nor boot up using previous settings. PC always keeps on restarting.
NOTE: I cannot enter BIOS menu, cannot select the boot menu, so it is not possible to flash the BIOS using USB. I am pretty much handicap in this situation other than pressing y or n button on the keyboard.
Please help me out. I purchased the motherboard 3 days ago and it is still in warranty. Should I seek replacement or is there any way to repair it on my own.
I have other motherboard and my PC runs fine with it.
Motherboard model: Intel DZ68BC.
CPU: i7 2600k stock
GPU: ASUS strix GTX 960 4GB.
Thanks
