I have nextbook 8 brand new, I have wireless internet on my laptop, how do I set up internet on tablet. I am very confused about all this stuff so need really easy instructions.

nextbook 8.1, manual has almost nothing in it, my 8 yr old has been trying to figure it out. We entered our router??? number and still nothing happens, no connection.
