I tried to install my newly purchased Corsair H75 Liquid CPU Cooler but the stand off's supplied by Corsair are too small for my motherboard's backplate, so the pump hangs loose from the CPU causing unstable temperatures. Does anyone know of a H75 compatible backplate for an AM3+ CPU socket? Thanks in advance.

My specs:

AMD FX8350 8-Core CPU
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 Motherboard
Corsair H75 Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus GeForce GTX 760 GPU
8GB Kingston Value RAM
Aerocool 700W PSU
2 Seagate Desktop 1TB HDDs

Yep, i swapped the pre-installed Intel one with the AMD one that came with the cooler.

I've checked the manual, the standoffs I used are correct and they say to use the backplate that came with the motherboard for AMD systems, which is what I did. As the standoffs don't fit, i think the backplate is the problem. I may swap the standoffs for the others included later today just too make sure. Thanks to both of you for answering.

Vic, you're a genius. It turns out the standoffs for one of the Intel sockets looks almost exactly the same as the one for the AMD socket. I've just switched them over and now the water block is secured to the CPU. Thanks a bunch and sorry if i'm a bit of a noob, i've never done this before.
