Okay, so first system specs:
Corsair Carbide 780t case
Evga Nex650g 650w Psu
Asus Z-97-A Motherboard
Intel I-7 4790K cpu
2x 1600 mhz 8gb ram sticks (not sure of brand, but am 70% sure they are kingston)
and an admittedly outdated Xfx radeon HD 6950 gpu
So the issue is, got everything in the new MB (the case is also new), and booted up, everything in the case seems to work, all 5 fans run, the L.E.D.s come on, but no display signal. I've tried plugging the HDMI (my display is 32" lcd sanyo t.v.) in to the gpu and the mb, hdmi slots, and not getting a signal to the display. Are there any suggestion for diagnosing this

Solution
Resolved, I had the gpu plugged into the 1st pci slot, but i guess thats for crossfire/sli. I moved it to the middle slot and got video just fine, tho got booted to a weird bios error page (0 drives detected, fan error) so I moved the opt_fan to the CPU_Fan Slot, and booted just fine. Ty for ur help!!!
A suggestion would be to borrow a monitor, until installing Windows and the card's driver, as the tv might not support low resolutions for displaying the BIOS.
Either disconnect the card and connect the onboard to the monitor, or leave the card connected and attach the monitor to it, and not to the onboard.

I will try those things right now, but i should note that the bios screen showed up on my former MB just fine, and i was using the same t.v.
