Specifically on youtube while using Firefox, I've seen my cpu go as high up as 66 C today...
my cpu is an i5-4590. What I don't understand is how videos can cause my temps to go so high, but games like Maplestory keep it fairly cool?

My temps have been idle around 38-39 C.

Note: It has been -fairly- hot in my area, 84~105 has been the norm. since it started heating up recently. Please do not recommend I get a better heatsink, I cannot afford one right now due to school costs.

66C is a walk in the park, and nothing to worry about.

Youtube videos on firefox using software decoding are more CPU intensive than a GPU assisted game such as Maplestory, which barely touches the CPU.

This is why your CPU heats up a little bit with youtube videos, regardless those temperatures are perfectly normal with the stock cooler, and are WELL under anything to be concerned about. (If they were hitting a constant 80C+ then it may be a concern.)
