I'll be totally honest here, I dont know the first thing when it comes to choosing the right specs or anything. But what I do know is that I'm willing to spend up to $3000 on a Desktop PC that can play any game on Ultra settings, 3D modelling and any adobe program withh ease, as well as video editing and other high end developing software. Im totally lost on what to buy. The $3000 includes the cost of a great monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse. This is my first gaming PC. and I want it to be perfect.

Solution
Knowing nothing about this is not a good thing, I highly recommend acquiring a basic knowledge on PC's. But I recommend gathering a few setups, printing them off, and showing it to friends. I also recommend doing the same thing and put it into one thread and ask which setup is the best...

But it is key that you know a basic knowledge of PC gaming in terms of specs and peripherals...

Thanks,

NOTE: The 1000W PSU is overkill for a single graphics card. Only added it in case you want to SLI in the future. Else, you could get a 750 / 850W G2 EVGA :)
