So, I've come into into a sum of money, and am considering one of the above cards. Looking at both cards, it seems quite a lot is different. Bus width, clock speed, and some other variables differ greatly. What is the overall difference between the two, and which is, in your opinion better?

Thanks in advance!

The Titan Z is the more powerful single card solution for pretty much everything, but don't forget that it is an older architecture and won't be nearly as powerful as the Titan X in games with poor or no SLI support. You can also get two Titan X's (or three 980 Ti's) for around the price of one Titan Z.

I have a 970 SLI, and they are maxed out on my Ultra Modded Skyrim. I have thousands of 4k textures and parallax installed with an ENB. I figured with 12 GB VRAM, there's no way I could max it out, but I'd also be willing to SLI 980ti. In your opinion, what's the better performance for cost route? I'll spend what I have to. And thanks!

So what is better for what? I'm more concerned about which is best for gaming.
