This should do the job, plenty of RAM for editing, the 4 cores from the Intel i5 is probably enough for editing and things like that, don't be fooled by the 8 core AMD CPU's, yes they have the cores which can help in editing, but as you're playing minecraft which is a single threaded work load, you will get much more performance from the i5 which has far superior single threaded performance, compared to the AMD FX 8320, whcih is similarly priced, clocked at the same speed but with 8 cores -

Or the 9370, a bit more expensive, but newer and with a higher clock speed

Or the 8350 which is cheaper, yet clocked at 4GHz, again with 8 cores

The 960 will handle gaming no problem. If you can save a bit more money, get a 970. You could also get a 280x or a 290 but i dont know what pricing is like for them.
I left some money so you can either get 16GB of RAM instead of 8, or you could get an SSD, for about £60 you can get a 250GB one.

Any questions, just ask
