When I connect my Seagate Expansion 2TB Drive via USB to my laptop, it doesn't come up and so, but it comes up on "devices and writers" on the control panel, but it comes up as "unspecified".
I can connect it to my desktop, and I could connect it to my laptop before and load all my pictures on there before I reinstalled Windows, but now I cant!

Windows 7 32-bit
HP Laptop
Seagate Expansion Drive 2TB

Try connecting the HDD to other computers. Doesn't matter if it's a desktop or laptop.
Is the power indicator light on or blinking on the HDD when u connect it to your computer(s)?
When you connect the HDD, does a message come saying "USB Device not recognized" or something like that?

Most probably somehow your HDD's driver has been deleted from the HDD. I don't know how to fix that. It happened with my WD My passport 1TB External HDD and I just gave up.

In that case, your laptop doesn't have the drivers required to use that HDD.

Was there any CD or something with that HDD?

UPDATE: Try different USB Ports. Try troubleshooting the issue with Windows Troubleshooter. Try searching for the drivers online.

I don't think so. And you cant download them anywhere.
But it should work because it worked before on that computer.

Well, I dont know whats going on but Im putting the files on an USB so I can put them on the laptop later.
