My 8 GB USB recently started this issue. I cannot copy any files into the USB nor delete any files from the USB. I can only access the files and open them but transfer isn't possible. I tried formatting the USB but it gives an error that "Disk drive is write protected". After searching the forum I tried removing the attributes from Command Prompt and erasing write-protected status from Registry but nothing works. Let me know if the USB is fixable or should I just throw it away?
