Will a overclocked AMD FX-6350 bottleneck a GTX 970 on cpu intensive games? I am mainly worried about arma 3.

No in this game Without off OC you will get around 47FPS
With OC 50+

The FX will not bottleneck a GTX 970 at 1080p resolution in intensive games .
