Should i RMA my GPU, MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G

When my 970 first came in it looked like some spots had sand paper rubbed on. (dont have a better example) and now after like 3 weeks or less when i try to play games the pc just restarts itself heres a picture .

Intel Core i5 4590
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
MSI GTX 970 4G
Corsair RM650
Corsair Vengeance Red 8GB
Corsair Carbide 300R Windowed
Western Digital Blue 1TB

Yes, RMA it, so that you don't have any questions in your mind. The real question is how long with the RMA take you and if it'll be a hassle. I've heard NewEgg can be more of a pain then doing it through Amazon. But that point is moot. I'm guessing it's your only power supply, or else you would have already sent it in. If that's the case, see if they can ship it out to you first before you send in yours for a return. This would possibly require a hold on your credit cad for the value of the power supply but it's probably worth it.

sorry but do you think it might be my cpu over heating because im not so sure about the how i did on the thermal paste because on the second picture it looks like there is some excess thermal paste on the metal part thats holds your cpu in place

If you're worried about temperatures, then try out a program that'll monitor temperatures for you. Speccy is great for checking on the temperature of most components in your system.
