So basically my internet or pc freezes for a few seconds only when im playing games and then it works again after a few seconds, this happens like twice per hour, but only when im playing games.
Why i dont know if its a pc lag or internet lag is because it only happens when i play games and skype and exactly everything freezes in a weird way, but it feels more like a internet lag.

Please guys this is so annoying

Hello buddy, it is very hard to comment without your computer specifications. My first thought is "page filing" better known as disk thrashing. It occurs when resources exceed ram limitations and relies on the hard drive as a temporary memory location, slows things up quite a bit. Again, just a shot in the dark without specifications. I am only basing this on the facts of it does this under "heavy" usage (i.e gaming, video conferencing etc..)

alright buddy, what has changed from when it was working fine? are u using wifi or ethernet? post right back so we can proceed. update: chances are it is not internet, perform memtest on ram, get hwmonitor installed to chk for high temps. next we would proceed to video card. i do not know your skill level, but i can tell you, the first thing i would do is pull ram sticks and check connections for dust. i am assuming that your system worked fine and this is a new issue that has cropped up.

I am using ethernet cabel to my router. Okay ill see if my ram cards are dusty, my pc isnt getting high temps, i runned it a few days ago. My video card is a nvidia gtx 760 2gb and it is working fine.
I believe that its a internet problem because it started to happen right after we moved to a new apartment and we got fiber optics and a new router, but it is only happening to me.
One of my friends said that it might be the cabel that i am using, can this be the problem?

If you want to stop your internet from freezing, you need to pull out the disk that came with your motherboard, it will have 1 or several networking programs to choose from, if there are several to choose from, pick a different network program, than what you currently have installed, and it should fix your problem. Killer Network manager has been identified as a game staller, if you have that network program installed, then you may want to try something else, even if you do not have other network option available on the disk that came with your motherboard, you can still search the internet for a different network program. The problem is with the network driver, so even if you have Killer Network, you can revert to an older driver, and it will fix the internet lag issue. If that does not work, turn off "Bluetooth", sometimes the Bluetooth will keep searching for devices, and will keep searching, without stopping, which is buggy, as it is supposed to stop searching after a few minutes.
