I just got my new Amd r9 295x2 in the mail today and installed it. The first game I booted up is Gta 5 and it ran like crap with the 6 month old Amd driver, so I got the beta 15.5 driver to see if that helped with the jitteryness of gta 5(and it did), but now it only shows 4096mb of vram in the settings instead of the 8196mb that it is supposed to (in the old driver, even though it ran like crap it did display it as a graphics card with 8gb of vram). In windows devices, it shows 2 different r9 200 series graphics cards as it should. Does the beta driver disable one of the cores of my gpu? does the driver it not support this card? Is one of my cores fried? How do I check if my gpu is ok outside of Gta 5? Do I need to download a crossfire-like program? Im stumped.
