Is there enough power on a standard fan header to power two fans?

Why would my H100I GTX fans work if the cpu header cable is plugged into chassis fan header but not into CPU header?

Solution
Ah, I see you asked the previous question I answered as well.

Here's the deal. The CPU fan needs to be PWM controlled - of you plug multiple fans into it via a splitter or some other device, the BIOS can't read the speed and adjust it. No speed reading = fan error. Read the manual on how to install it. Usually the radiator fans are connected to chassis headers on the motherboard or to a fan controller that's part of the pump.
