I've had my custom gaming PC since fall of 2013. I haven't had this problem before up until a month or two ago. I put my computer to sleep while it isn't being used and whenever I wake it up, it becomes very slow and unresponsive for about 10-15 minutes then it's fine. I open Chrome and it takes forever and when I click anywhere, the unresponsive screen has come up and I have to force close. Same with any other program I try to open. Once I do get Chrome open, everything will be speedy then I get a big lag spike. The spikes go on about 3-8 times. My mouse cursor doesn't freeze during the spikes only the program I am in. Eventually everything speeds up back to normal after 10-15 minutes. I've already googled some possible causes of this. I saw that it can be my PSU, hard drive, graphics card, or RAM. I did find hundreds of ants living under my PSU last month, so I'm thinking that may be a problem... I have also had two blue screens this year while playing GTA 5. It's getting annoying having to wait 10 minutes just do be able to do a simple task.
Thanks
