I have been searching around for a custom PC, finally got around to building one. Just check out the specs, and tell me if it was worth the amount I paid for it: All Prices are in US dollars ($)

How will games like GTA V, Black Ops 2, COD Advance Warfare, Fifa 15/16, Watch Dogs, Far Cry 4 run on high quality+?

General Case (metal, 30)
PSU (450 Watt) (30)
Nvidia GTX 750Ti
8GB DDR3 Ram
Intel Core i5 3.1Ghz, quad-core
1TB Western Digital Internal Harddrive
Free Windows 8 Pro (and additional software)

Total Cost: $680

How does it sound?

Solution
GTA V will not do well on this system, not at all.
Black Ops 2 will do decent and should have no issues.
COD AW will do alright, but not the best.
Watch Dogs will have some problems on higher settings.
Far Cry 4 will also have issues on high.

Overall, these specs look like a Gaming PC from 3-4 years ago...are you trying to get setup for new games?

For real though?

Gamedebate said I could run Far Cry 4 on high, with no issues. What is the problem with the setup? I thought the card was good?

The GTX 750 came out in early 2013, the card is already over 2 years old. Far Cry 4 just released this past November, I would be surprised if you can play Far Cry 4 on High Settings without a problem. Also, what i5 do you have? There are many generations, 5th generation is the newest. What is the CPU model number? A new i5 at 3.1 GHz is much different than an older i5 at 3.1GHz.

A 450W PSU is pretty low for a gaming system, but using older parts like you have it should be fine. Though, you will need to upgrade the PSU if you get a new GPU in the coming years, 500W is the minimum for most new cards.

Windows 8 is horrible for gaming compared to Windows 7, so I would change that if you can.'

Understand, buying 2-3 year old parts will not get you high performance on today's AAA games. Today's software is made for today's hardware.
