I just build a brand new computer, ordered all of the parts off of newegg and i'll list the specs below in case it has something to do with faulty parts or known problems regarding certain parts

MoBo: Asus Sabertooth 990fx r2.0
CPU: AMD3+ 9590 Vishera 4.7GHz (with the included liquid cooler)
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C11D-16GXL (Extra detail because I believe that this is the problem, but I can't prove it)
GRam: MSI GeForce GTX970
Power Supply: Rosewill Gold Standard 750watt
SSD: 250GB 850EVO Samsung
HDD: 1TB WD Black

I went to geek squad for a counter diagnosis and the only thing that they were able to say about it was my fan was turned the wrong way and cpu overheating was the only thing that they said it might be. I fixed it and nothing changed. I moved each stick of ram into each slot and booted and opened up Benchmarking Halo and it would crash after a few scenes. I went on to google the issue and discovered that the 970 /980 graphics cards have issues with being underutilized, so I went from the low graphic setting to ultra on the benchmarking software and it went for 2-3 times as far but still crashed. It was a significant boost, but it still crashed. I've run out of ideas, I can't update my bios because of the crash risk mid download/install and it would render my mobo useless. I've wiped my SSD and reinstalled my windows 8.1 OS onto it multiple times to eliminate driver confliction, and i've updated every driver i could find in hopes that it would fix it but nothing has. I've run out of ideas and the knowhow to properly fix this machine and its quite disappointing. Any and all input is greatly appreciated, thank you all for your time.

then the problem is with the cpu, I would recommend you to measure the temperature of the cpu while it froze then if its very high then get yourself a better cooler(I think that 220w is very hot for a cpu and usually reference cooler aren't the best but actually 4..7ghz its hot) I would recommend a corsair h100i).

My connection isn't slow, I get 30 down and 5 up typically and its hard wired in, my cursor just won't move and when I have music up (if i'm able to get my music up in time before it freezes) it stops and then it freezes up completely, no ctrl+alt+delete or cursor movement at all, just all around unresponsive
