so i'm going to upgrade my pc and i have chosen every thing i need but i'm a little bit confused about the cpu i was going to get the intel i7 4790k but nw i'm not sure...so do u think it's a good cpu?this pc is going to be for heavy gaming and a little bit of video editing...here's my whole rig specs
cpu:intel i7 4790k(not sure yet)
cpu cooler:cooler master hyper 103
gpu:msi geforce gtx 970 gaming 4g edition
ram:16gb
mobo:msi z97s sli plus
psu:cooler master v750 gold
case:cooler master k380 with 3 additional sickle flow x 120mm case fans
i want something to be compatible with this rig and in the same price range of the 4790k...i want to play the latest games at max settings on a 1080p 60hz monitor @40+fps for the next 2-3 years without needing to upgrade again...is that possible?is this cpu good?or there's something better? is this pc good?plz tell me if i should change anything... :)
(i'm not going to overclock nw so i don't need a diffrent cooler maybe after 2 years i might oc)
thx in advance :D

Solution
The 4790k will be great..."in the same price range of the 4790k" leads me to believe that you are not out to save a penny. I would say go for the 4790k.

The 4790K is the best gaming CPU out there. There is nothing better. It should max out most if not all games at 1080p for 2-3 years. If you need to upgrade, it will be because of your graphics not your CPU. Upgrading the graphics is as simple as adding another GTX 970 in SLI.
