New Graphics Card, No Display!?

I just recently build a new PC, and I decided to replace my current graphics card with a much better one. I uninstalled the drivers for that one, turned the computer off, uninstalled the GPU then installed my new GPU. All of the lights turn on, GPU fans turn on, EVERYTHING looks fine. I plug in my DVI cord from my (new) moniter, and there's no display, just a blank screen, no POST, no BIOS, nothing! When I press the buttons on the moniter, it just says there's no connection coming from my computer. I've tried every type of cord, HDMi, VGA (with DVI adapter), and still no display. I know the motherboard isn't bad because it's internal graphics still work, along with any other graphics card I plug into it. I feel like I should also mention that the GPU required a 6-pin power cable to be plugged into from my power supply. The GPU also came with two 6-pin power cables with little 3 pin cables on the end that connect to the power supply.

Thanks!!

1) Verify one end of your video output cord goes into the graphics card, and the other end of the same cord goes into the monitor. Many people here mess this up.

2) What model exactly is your graphics card?

3) What model exactly is that TT PSU and how old is it?

1. Definitely sure I have the video output in the right place...

2. It's a Sapphire Toxic R9 270X

3. i'm not entirely sure, but I bought it a few days ago off of amazon and it can hold 600w so I think it's good.
