My friend started talking smack about how he is so good with computers. Well me being competitive challenged him to a friendly bet. Who could build a better gaming rig with the budget at $960.00. I know that these are just parts, and we're not going to actually build these because either of us has $960 laying around.

Just what system would be overall better for gaming and everyday tasks. Thanks!

This is my view on it. The first build is better because not only is the processor by intel, it has a good PSU. The memory is also dual channel.

The second build has the corsair CX series PSU, which receives many bad reviews about it failing too early, etc.
And why does the second build only have single channel memory? that is worse than dual channel in the first build

First build wins by a good amount.
