Is this $1200 Mini ITX Build Worth it?

Hello, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PJbCnQ

I'm building a slightly upscale workstation/gaming PC for $1200. I want it to be Mini ITX to save money on the case.

I am decided on the case, CPU, CPU cooler, mouse and keyboard, SSD, fans, HDD, and OS. However, the graphics card will likely be an AMD 300 Series.

Also, will this build be able to overclock the i5 4690K well and keep it cool? That's why I chose this case (great ventilation).

Any tips on cheapening this without losing performance are appreciated.

I plan on overclocking and the 15% performance gains overall and 1-5% FPS gains seemed worth it to me.

Any tips on cheapening this without losing performance are appreciated.

Thanks! This is my first ever PC build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PJbCnQ

Better PSU also will be easier to work with. the old one was crappy and made by a bad manufacturer with crap parts. This one is made by Seasonic. Otherwise solid build.

It is on the budget end...not EVGAs best PSU...ratings and reviews seem to be good. As with any power supply, if it is hitting its max output/500 watts the concern is would the quality of parts be enough to sustain this over the long term.

Only the EVGAs Nex's and the G1 B1 are bad.
The b2 g2 p2 are made by super flower with good components, and the GS's are made by Seasonic.

Recommendation, instead of getting a lot of little fans, get the bigger fans. They move more air, and are quieter at the same time.

So get 3x 200mm fans, 1x 140mm and 1x 120mm

And you might actually want to get a closed loop watercooler instead of an air cooler, they're also quieter.

One problem with mini-itx boards is their not the BEST OCers, so you may think about not getting an OCing setup and saving money there.

This mITX can overclock the same as high-end Z97s with negligible voltage differences and there's great heat dissipation across the MOBO.
