I just built a new pc and used a belkin usb wifi adapter to connect to my wifi. dl was 1 mbps. Testing the speed with my macpro is 50mbps. So, I thought my adapter was broken and bought a new one that goes up to 150mbps. Still getting the same speeds. All of the drivers are up to date, connection is fine, i changed my dns, usb 3.0, flushed stuff etc. but i cant get it to get any higher than 1-2 mbps. 
any thoughts on whats wrong?
