hi tomshardware community!
im planning to build a new gaming PC this week and looking forward to find the best or bang for a buck components for my PC. and atleast future proof for 3-4 years or so.

here is my current setup

Processor: AMD A6-3650
Mobo: Emaxx
GPU: Palit GTX 750Ti StormX Dual
Ram: Gskill RipjawsX 8GB 1666
HDD: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue
PSU: Generic

___________________________________________________________________________

Looking forward for this new setup. + their respective prices in php converted to usd

Processor: Intel Core i5 4690 - 250$
Mobo: ???
GPU: GTX 980 Ti Reference Card Will Do. - 750$
Ram: Gskill RipjawsX 8GB 1666 - 0$ Already have One
HDD: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue - 0$ Already Have One
PSU: Corsair VS650 - 70$
Case: Bitfenix Neos Window Mid Tower Case - 60 to 70$

so my budget will be solely to the Procie|Mobo|GPU|Case

or should i stick with my processor and upgrade later?
if so will it bottleneck the 980ti?

and btw 1$ = 42 PHP-ish here in the philippines.
i was looking for this store.
http://benstore.com.ph/
because they are accepting paypal as a payment so yeah.

or Comment Below if you have a better suggestion like AMD Build etc.

PC Will be used solely for Gaming and Some Video/Image editing stuffs.

thanks!

Kamusta, try mo yung Dynaquest you can order online I recently bought mine from them, you just have to call them and ask for cash on delivery, theyre one of the best resellers and cheapest computer parts. I suggest get alteast the Intel i7-4790k, GTX 970 or 980 (if it fits your budget), 8gb of ram, Asrock Extreme4 Z97, Gigabyte Z97x Gaming 3-7 and dont ever get a generic psu for the build again! Get atleast 650-750 watts 80+ silver or gold(better) Corsair brand or FSP.

hi thanks for the reply!
as for now. i prefer my gpu as gtx 980 Ti for future proofing i guess for atleast 3-4 years. currently priced at 31k on dynaquest. and i7 4790k is too much for my budget i think. do you have a suggestion for an amd build? and the generic psu came from the case itself. too lazy to buy branded one because i thought it was enough hehe. im looking forward on getting VS650 now.

Kamusta sir Dynamode? matanong ko nga pala kung ano na balita sa i5 build mo? sa pagkakabasa ko, sobrang ganda ng build na to kumpara sa build ko. Actually, bumubuo din ako ng budget gaming pc with an AMD build ngayong December.
Heto yung sakin.

Components:

CPU - AMD Vishera FX6300 3.5Ghz
Mobo - MSI 970 Gaming (AM3+)
RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2X4gb)
Storage - WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5 WD10EZEX
GPU - Gigabyte R9-380 G1 Gaming OC 4GD5 256Bit
PSU - Corsair CX500 PSU
Chasis - Aerocool VS-92

since budget lang yan, mas pinili ko yung AMD FX6300. hindi ako expert para sabihin 'to pero since may option para ma-overclock yung cpu para mas ma-optimize pa yung performance. sabi sa ibang threads, kaya daw tapatan yung i5 nito or at least halos.

Suggestion lang for an AMD build na solid since $1,500 ang range ng budget mo, FX8350 for processor, MSI 970 Gaming AM3+ for mobo(good all aound and overclocking), sa graphics card naman, MSI 290X or 390X if available. both CPU and GPU ay overclockable so I think mas makakamura ka pa dito in terms of value to performance.
