Need to upgrade graphics card. PLEASE HELP!

I have an ASUS CG5275 desktop, and due to finances, I can only afford to upgrade my graphics card. I use a gaming program but they recommend: NVIDIA Graphics cards
9000 Series:
9600, 9800
200 Series:
275 GTX, 295 GTX
ATI Graphics Cards
4000 Series:
4850, 4870, 4890
5000 Series:
5850, 5870, 5970

My computer is:
ASUS CG5275 desktop
64 bit
intel(r) core (tm) 15 cpu 650 @ 3.20 ghz
8.00 gb

I am struggling to find a good graphics card that will fall under the list of recommended for my game that will also be compatible with my system. I am absolutely clueless right now. Please help... anybody?!

that is a pretty good CPU if it is a i5 and 8GB of RAM is still a good thing. the lowest card I would put in there is the HD 5850 or the 4870 the 295GTX is a good idea too. the rest of those graphics cards listed are so weak they would not be worth it. something newer might be worth it too, such as a GT 730 or GT 740. what is your power supply rated at?

great, at the $150 range there is the 750ti, , but if you have single six pin PCIE cable, which you probably do have, get the R7 260X which is as good and is closer to $120 or less. on the lower range there is the R7 250X which also needs a six pin, and the GTX 750 both or which are around $80. these are newer cards and are probably the best, there are also some 650ti cards and older versions that shoudl be considered too.
