I can't explore my hard drive (500gb) here's a detailed view:
-I can see it from My Computer, but it's odd that no storage space is shown unlike my primary/system one.
-I can see it from BIOS
-I can see it from Disk Management and has a Healthy (blue) status.
-It is classified as RAW not NTFS.

TIA :)

Hi there rijn12,

Sorry that you are having some issues with your drive.
It seems that it has some partition related problems and you need to recover them.

Check these out:

After that, you can test the drive with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool. The results will most probably show whether there is something wrong with the drive.

Let me know how this goes,

I've tried the CGE method and it says "read error" something like that. So, I can't analyse the hard drive using the Test Disk. Now i'm off to the second one, your WD's DLG tool :D i'll keep you posted sir! thanks

as of now, it seems that my hard drive can't be checked by the two tools :( sadly.

It is strange that you can't access it with these software tools even though it is recognized by BIOS, Disk Management, etc.
Does the drive show it's capacity(500GB) in BIOS? In case it shows as 0, there may be some mechanical problem.

Also, it will not hurt to try something simple as just changing the cable.
Is the drive under warranty? In case it is, you can just contact WD's Support and RMA the drive.
