Need to upgrade Motherboard please suggest one

Hi, I have a Core i7 2600 processor.

My current Mother Board is Intel DH61WW.

It is giving me some problems and that's why I want to upgrade it. I went to market and found out that Intel has stopped manufacturing Motherboard. Since, I am using this for 4 years so I never get the news.

But, I see some of the website are still selling Intel Motherboard. I selected one which is Intel DH77EB. But I am in a confusion on which one to buy.

So, Please anyone suggest me a good motherboard and I just want that motherboard to have a upper hand with DH61WW. I do not have any further wishes, I just want it to be better.

Still I am in India, so many motherboards are hard to find. So please give me some suggestion of motherboard which can be found out in flipkart.com Thanking you in advance.

I don't know if you realize it or not but the Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H and Intel DH77EB are Micro ATX motherboards. Both are limited to DDR3 1600 RAM. The Gigabyte has a B75 chipset. The Intel has a H77 chipset. The Gigabyte is more of an entry level motherboard. Of the two I would choose the Intel DH77EB.

I found a Intel Z77 LGA 1155 on your suggested site. It is compatible with your stated processor, and it should be a step up from your previous motherboard. The LGA1155 motherboard selection was rather slim.

Can you please recommend any other Motherboard, I have a very bad experience with Gigabyte and thanks for your answer

I made my suggestions based on your desire for a better motherboard. I had no budget.

Sure it will work. The main criteria is that it must have an Intel LGA1155 socket. In the 5,000 - 10,000 Rs. price range at Flipart, the one that you suggested (H77) is the best option. Another option is a Z77 that is midway between the two.

Intel DZ77BH-55K Motherboard for 17,900 Rs.

But the final decision is entirely yours. The supplier you picked is heavily packed with Intel motherboards. That wouldn't be the brand of motherboard that I would normally suggest. I prefer Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, or Asrock for motherboards.

Hey thanks again for your advice. A user has also suggested the Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H. So my final choice is between Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H and Intel DH77EB which one would you recommend?
