Hi everyone,

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card in my dell optiplex 7010 Mini-tower PC, and I have a couple of questions.

I've narrowed it down to getting a GTX 750 Ti as it's the best option that fits my budget, but couldn't decide on a specific one, I almost went with Gigabyte 750 ti OC one as it's going to fit in my case with no problems, my friend has installed it in his 7010 so there is no issue there, but now that I looked a little more I found that EVGA 750 Ti FTW one is very close in price to Gigabyte's one ($4 difference) but it's a little bit longer (8 vs 9in) and I'm not sure if it'll fit in my case.

Gigabyte's one has 1033/1111 base/boost clock respectively, while EVGA's one has 1189/1268 base/boost clock respectively, is this difference that significant or is it about the same, meaning is it worth the resk of buying the faster one without knowing if it'll fit or if I'll have to make some changes and compromises to fit it, or should I just go with the one I know it's the right size. (I'll include pictures of my pc with the dimensions).

Now for the PSU, should I go with Seasonic or Be quite, I'm gitting a 500-600W which should be plenty enough, but I can't go any deeper than 150cm with the power supply as it will interfere with the door lock.

Thanks.

Thank you,

I've considered the one you recommended, but it only has one fan, is it as efficient in cooling as the two fans in Gigabyte's one?

My PSU is only 275 watts I think, so i'm going to have to replace it anyways, and most aftermarket PSUs have PCIe 6-pin power, don't they?

I thought about OC-ing the difference but I don't know if my system BIOS support OC-ing the GPU, as it's a dell motherboard, will I be able to?

what is so nice a about OC for GPU, is that your motherboard does not matter, just use MSI afterburner. I would get a better power supply perhaps 400 watts or higher. the think with the card I mentioned is that it does not need a six pin, so it will not OC that much, but it is fast already. in terms of cooling, I have found it to run quite cool, but if you are getting a new PSU, which you have to anyway, the FTW one seems fine.
